A week ago, I received a service call and visited our client in the water treatment plant in Northern California. We have a filter press dewatering the sludge in this treatment plant. It serves a residential community with about 500 single families with a golf course. Our PLC (programmable logic controller) filter press has a capacity of 33 cf with automatic plate shifter for easy use and operate. It operates one to two loads a day and generates about 40% dry solids, greatly reduced disposal costs. It saves the treatment plants about $12K/month compared to past truck hauling sludges and disposal methods. Below are two videos to show our filter press in the treatment plant and residential community. Glad our clean tech can save water, serves our community for green environment.

Hengda 1250mm PLC Filter Press
Hengda’s 1250mm PLC filter press has 22 gasketed filter plates with a capacity of 32 CF. It is used in a county owned domestic waste water treatment plant in Northern California to dewater biological aerobically digested solids. It replaces an older press that has saved the county about $12K/month liquid trucking and disposal costs.
This filter press is electric hydraulic with an automatic plate shifter that can be used in semiautomatic mode to allow for cake scraping. The shifter to reduce labor , 25% greater capacity, and eliminating wicking [gasketed plates] motivated the upgrade.
